About this range
This daily-fee course in St. Charles offers a driving range and golf instruction alongside a full restaurant; reviews describe a challenging, well-conditioned layout, though several mention slow pace of play and inconsistent customer service.
Tee surface
The club's actual site (missouribluffs.com now redirects to an unrelated clothing boutique; correct site is mobluffs.com) describes its practice facility, "Top Range," as having "a new concrete tee line, upgraded targets, lights, and more." A concrete tee line is industry terminology for a synthetic turf/mat hitting surface installed on a concrete pad (natural grass cannot be grown on concrete), so this indicates a mat-based range rather than natural grass tees. No page explicitly used the word "mats," so confidence is medium rather than high.

What people say
Reviews from GooglePace of play was great, the greens look amazing and fairways were pure. Max was a great employee and I recommend this course 10/10 times.
Great golf course. Challenging in places but really enjoyable to play. Greens in excellent shape despite a really heavy downpour the night before. Tea boxes were a little worn with divots not repaired. The bar and food were excellent as well and the staff and servers were really helpful.
